INITIATING AND REFERRING PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE ZONING
DISTRICT MAP TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR PUBLIC HEARING
AND RECOMMENDATION UNDER CHAPTER 11, TITLE 15.1 OF THE CODE
OF VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, several existing multi-family residential developments in the
town are incompatible with the underlying commercial zoning district; and
WHEREAS, in the interests of good zoning practice and public welfare
the zoning for these developments should more accurately reflect their existing
residential use;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. An amendment to the Zoning District Map as shown on the
attached map from B-2 to R-4 is initiated and referred to the Planning Com-
mission for public hearing and recommendation under Chapter 11, Title 15.1 of
the Code of Virginia, as amended.
SECTION II. The following properties are included in the proposed re-
zoning: Plaza Village Condominiums and Olde Town Condominiums, Phase One.
