AWARDING A GRANT TO EUGENE SCHEEL TO RESEARCH THE NORRIS BROTHERS
BUILDING FIRM
WHEREAS, the Norris Brothers building firm built a great majority of the
homes in Leesburg between the late 1840's and mid 1920's; and
WHEREAS, Eugene Scheel has requested a grant of one hundred and fifty
($150) dollars for the purpose of conducting research on the Norris Brothers
building firm; and
WHEREAS, research of the Norris Brothers building firm would be an asset to
the town's archives.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
A grant in the amount of one hundred and fifty ($150) dollars is hereby
awarded to Eugene Scheel for the purposes stated hereinabove.
