MAKING AN APPROPRIATION AND AUTHORIZING THE PROCUREMENT OF AN
AUTOMOBILE FOR THE TOWN ENGINEER
WHEREAS, the FY 86 budget appropriated $8,500.00 for the purchase of an
automobile for the use of the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, Leesburg Ford submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $9,235.00
for a 1985 Ford LTD in response to a request for sealed competitive bids dated
July 30, 1985:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
I. The Town Manager shall issue a standard purchase order to Leesburg Ford
for the purchase of a 1985 Ford LTD at a price of $9,235.00.
II. An appropriation is made to the General Fund, Account No. 3401.700.050,
Automotive Equipment in the amount of $735.00 for the fiscal year ending June
30, 1986.
