RESOLUTION 85-172 ADOPTED September 25~ 1985
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH
YEONAS COMPANY RE OVERSIZING OF WATER LINE
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Water and Sewer Master Plan shows a 16-inch
water line along the extension of Janney Street in Leesburg Country Club
Section 4 to provide a discharge line from the proposed Hogback Mountain
Water Storage Tank; and
WHEREAS, the Yeonas Company is now developing subdivided lots and
needs to extend an eight-inch water line along Janney Street; and
WHEREAS, the Yeonas Company has agreed to construct the over-sized
line if the Town reimburses Yeonas for the cost differential; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering has certified that the cost
estimates submitted are accurate:
NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to sign a contract with
the Yeonas Company in a form approved by the Town Attorney providing for
a $29,700 payment upon the completion of a 16-inch water line along
Janney Street to the satisfaction of the Director of Engineering.
