That the City of Greencastle Zoning Map, Section 806 -5 (b)
of the City of Greencastle Code, is hereby amended by changing
the zoning classification for the following described real estate
from R- 2 - -Low Density Multiple - Family Residence District to C -1 --
Local Business District:
Tract I
e Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam
and being a part of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 1.4
North, Range 4 West of the Second Principal
Meridian, more particularly described to-wit:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GREENCASTLE PLANNING AND ZONING
ORDINANCE BY AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Greencastle, has
initiated and prepared this ordinance to amend the Greencastle
Planning and Zoning Ordinance by amending the zoning map;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that
it held a public hearing concerning this ordinance December 11,
1989, after timely notice of the hearing was given by publication
in the Banner - Grap hic, Greencastle, Indiana on November 30, 1989;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that
it paid reasonable regard to the factors enumerated in IC 36 -7 -4-
603 in consideration of the ordinance and determination of a
recommendation to made to the Common Council;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has certified this
ordinance to the Common Council with a recommendation by a
majority vote in favor of adoption;
WHEREAS, the Common Council has considered the
recommendation of the Greencastle Plan Commission and has paid
reasonable regard to the factors enumerated in IC- 36 -7 -4 -603
before acting on this ordinance;
WHEREAS, the Common Council has determined that this
ordinance should be adopted without amendment as certified by the
Greencastle Plan Commission. Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. REZONING
That the City of Greencastle Zoning Map, Section 806 -5 (b)
of the City of Greencastle Code, is hereby amended by changing
the zoning classification for the following described real estate
from R- 2 - -Low Density Multiple - Family Residence District to C -1 --
Local Business District:
Tract I
e Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam
and being a part of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 1.4
North, Range 4 West of the Second Principal
Meridian, more particularly described to-wit:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the
Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
• Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West;
thence South 89 degrees 19 minutes West 324.0 feet
with the South line of said Southeast quarter
quarter; thence North 00 degrees 33 minutes East
205.81 feet to a wood post and the true point of
beginning of the real estate herein dscribed;
thence South 89 degrees 1.8 minutes West 1.60.67
feet to an iron stake; thence North 89 degrees 55
minutes West 160.14 feet to a fence post; thence
South 88 degrees 17 minutes West 79.31 feet to a
fence post; thence South 68 degrees 17 minutes
West 102.63 feet to a Wood Fence Post; thence
South 89 degrees 25 minutes West 67.34 feet to an
iron stake marking the Southeast corner of a tract
of land deeded to Don Mitchell Builder, Inc. as
dscribed in a deed, recorded in Deed Record 179,
page 188 in the Office of the Recorder of Putnam
County, Indiana; thence North 00 degrees 09
minutes East 60.0 feet with the East line of said
Don Mitchell Builder, Inc.; thence North 89
degrees 19 minutes East 569.62 feet to an iron
stake; thence South 00 degrees 15 minutes East
58.90 feet to the point of beginning, containing
0.77 of an acre, more or less.

Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam
and being a part of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 14
North, Range 4 West of the Second Principal
Meridian, more particularly described to -wit:
• Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West;
thence South 89 degrees 19 minutes West 324.0 feet
with the South line of said Southeast Quarter
Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 33 minutes East
264.71 feet to an iron stake and the true point of
beginning of the real estate herein described;
thence South 89 degrees 19 minutes West 569.62
feet to an iron stake on the East line of a tract
of land deeded to Don Mitchell Builders, Inc. as
described in a deed recorded in Deed Record 179,
page 188, in the Office of the Recorder of Putnam
County, Indiana; thence North 00 degrees 09
minutes East 59.31 feet with the Fast line of said
Don Mitchell Builders, Inc. tract; thence North 89
degrees 19 minutes East 569.22 feet to an iron
stake; thence South 00 degrees 15 minutes East
59.32 feet to the point of beginning, containing
0.775 of an acre, more or less.
This ordinance takes effect upon passage.
The Clerk - Treasurer of the City of Greencastle is ordered to
have this ordinance published by inserting a copy of the
ordinance in each of the two (2) sets of the City of Greencastle
Code maintained on file for public inspection in the office of
