RESOLUTION NO. 66 -615
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
MAKING CITY CONTRIBUTION IN CONNEC-
TION WITH VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 65 -161 this City Council estab-
lished the boundaries of Vehicle Parking District No. 4 of the City
of Temple City, California, and ordered the acquisition and improve-
ment of certain parking places for said district; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore determined that
the public interest and necessity require such acquisition and im-
provement, and has heretofore determined that the sum of money to
be paid to the city by American Savings and Loan Association in com-
pliance with Resolution No. 64 -97 PC adopted by the Planning Com-
mission of said city on July 6, 1964, would be contributed by the
city to pay a portion of the costs and expenses of such acquisition
and improvement; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of the Planning Com-
mission the sum to be paid to the city by American Savings and Loan
Association has been determined to be the sum of $10,000; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has determined that the city
should contribute a sum of money in addition to the amount set
forth above;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple
City, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That a portion of the costs and expenses of
the acquisition and improvement ordered by said ordinance shall be
paid and contributed by said city and the amount of said payment
and contribution shall be the sum of $13,039.
Section 2. That said amount is hereby appropriated from
moneys in the General Fund of said city and said amount shall be
transferred forthwith to a special fund hereby created and desig-
nated "Acquisition and Improvement Fund for Vehicle Parking District
No. 4."
