A RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF SELLING OF REAL ESTATE LOTS OWNED BY THE CITY
OF TIFFIN IN TIMBER RIDGE VIEW PART,TWO LOTS 31
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin Iowa; An Iowa Municipality (The "City"), received, as part of the Settlement
Agreement with LDR IOWA CITY LLC, A Wisconsin Limited Liability Company (LDR) a real estates lot known as
Lot #31
WHEREAS, the lot have been declared clear of liens or encumbrances and transfer of property has been
properly recorded with the Johnson County, Iowa Recorder, as previously recorded in Book 51, Page 168,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City, after holding a properly noticed public hearing on the issue; the City
Council may desire to make a decision to sell the properties as,detailed below:
Lot #31, to sell to the public.
AND WHEREAS, Notification to the Public will be published and posted as required in, accordance to Iowa
Code. (Mandated Procedures Attached.)
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED THAT:

1. A Notice of the date, time, and place of the hearing on this issue was properly published.
2. A Hearing was held on the issue.
3. That the properties described below are henceforth zoned:
Lot #31 R17C Residential
4. The City Attorney will examine and assist with all documents pursuant to the sale of real estate property
in accordance to the Iowa Code.
On the 9th day of February, 2011 at a regular City Council meeting of the City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Council
person Chris Ball introduced Resolution 2011-05 A RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF SELLING OF REAL
ESTATE LOTS OWNED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN IN TIMBER RIDGE VIEW PART TWO LOT 31 and
seconded by Council person Travis Weipert and made motion for approval.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nay: None
Absent: Mike Gericke
With four votes for City Council approval, Mayor Phillips declared that the Resolution 2011-05 A RESOLUTION
FOR APPROVAL OF SELLING OF REAL ESTATE LOTS OWNED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN IN TIMBER
RIDGE VIEW PART TWO LOTS 31 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed and approved this 9th day of -February 2011.
