MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LEGAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, W. J. Jolly, Attorney at Law, of Galax, Virginia, was appointed
special counsel to represent the town in matters pertaining to the 1983 Annexa-
tion Agreement by Council Resolution No. 85-231; and
WHEREAS, the town's special counsel advises that it is necessary to retain
professional consultants to assist in preparing various studies to represent
the town's position with respect to the 1983 Agreement:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
An appropriation is made to the General Fund, Account No. 1204.300.010.200,
Legal Services, in the amount of $7~000 for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1986.
