No. 13571 appropriating $85,000.00 from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for Carole Lane Storm Improvements (Frontenac 6-1) (11241) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to provide financial assistance for drainage improvements on flood-prone properties. 7 of 1/10/13 Agenda Item Number Name Page Number Resolutions 36 Adoption of Resolution No. 3067 whereas this resolution authorizes representatives 26 of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to file periodically with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources applications for grants and loans to aid in the construction of projects to mitigate water pollution within the District's area of jurisdiction and responsibility. 37 Adoption of Resolution No. 3068 whereas Section 9.3 of the Pension Plan of The 27 Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District provides that the Board of Trustees of the District, may from time to time, appoint one or more investment managers to act on behalf of any Trustee or Trustees of the Pension Plan with respect to all or a specified portion of the assets of the Pension Fund held by said Trustee. Such investment managers shall be either (a) registered as an investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, (b) the securities of investment companies (mutual funds) registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, (c) a bank common or collective trust fund as defined in the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, (d) a legal insurance company qualified to manage, acquire or dispose of plan assets under the laws of Missouri. 38 Adoption of Resolution No. 3069 expressing the Board of Trustees’ appreciation to U. What does action accomplish?: Implements the construction of a CIP project, as required by Consent Decree. The purpose of this project is to reduce inflow/infiltration in the Deer Creek and Maline Creek Watersheds. This project will provide for the elimination of two (2) constructed SSOs (BP-166 and BP-315) after the Stonington Sanitary Relief and Upper Jeske Lateral Sanitary Relief projects are constructed. This project is scheduled to be completed in 550 days. FUNDING/COST SUMMARY: Budgeted: Capital Improvement Program Budget Year: FY2013, Pg. 91 Amount: $5,360,000 Fund Name: #6660 – Sanitary Replacement Fund Additional Comments: An additional contingency of $30,000 for utility relocation (Water - $30,000) is included in the appropriation. Public rehabilitation work originally included in the Upper Jeske Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-314) (10781), Cella, Rolling Rock – Glen Creek – I/I Reduction (SKME-658, 659 & 657) (10382), and Stonington Sanitary Relief (SKME- 652) (10185) projects are combined into this construction project. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate sewer, manholes, and connections to enable the future removal of BP-491. This project is scheduled to be completed in 180 days.
