SPECIAL MEETING
April 25, 2002
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 115 West 200
South, Moab, Utah. Mayor Pro-tem Kyle Bailey called the Joint City
Council/Planning Commission Special Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. In
attendance were Councilmembers Kirstin Peterson, Jeffrey Davis, Gregg
Stucki, and Rob Sweeten. Mayor David L. Sakrison arrived at 6:30 PM.
Also in attendance were City Manager Donna J. Metzler, City
Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel Ellison, Planning and
Community Development Director David Olsen and City Planner Robert
Hugie. City Planning Commission Members in attendance were: Dave
Wood, Kara Dohrenwend, Dorothy Markle, Samuel Taylor and Rodney
Taylor.
City Planner Hugie made a presentation. Discussion followed.
Councilmember Sweeten moved to approve change order #1 for the
Tusher Storm Drain Outfall Project. Councilmember Davis seconded
the motion. The motion carried 5-0 by a roll -call -vote.
City Manager Metzler made a presentation regarding the budget for
fiscal year 2002/2003. Discussion followed.
Councilmember Bailey moved to end the meeting by 9:00 PM.
Councilmember Stucki seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-1
aye with Councilmember Davis voting nay.
Councilmember Bailey moved for adjournment. Councilmember
Sweeten seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0 aye.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special Meeting at 9:25 PM.
