STEWART, HUSBAND AND WIFE, TO VACATE PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, did at its regular meeting held on January 22, 1.990, approve the Petition of Lee M. Stewart and Susan B. Stewart, Husband and Wife, for the vacation of a certain public right -of- way located in the City of Greencastle; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, pursuant to law, published notice that this matter would come before the Common Council for public hearing at the regular meeting of the Common Council to be held on Tuesday, February 13, 1.990 at 7:30 o'clock, p.m. at the General Telephone Building, Greencastle, Indiana; and WHEREAS, the adjoining property owners have consented or have been notified pursuant to statute as to the vacation of the alley; and Is ��V 0 0 s O w �� O K n r > WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, has after public hearing determined the relief prayed for in said Petition should be granted and that portion of the public right -of -way located in the City of Greencastle, Indiana, should be vacated. City way and O L u d NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Common Council of the of Greencastle, Indiana, that the following public right -of.- located in the City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Three (3) feet off of the east side of a fifteen (15) foot alley running north and south between Beveridge Street and Park Street (said alley being to the West of Lot Number 32 in Melville B. Cox's Addition to the City of Greencastle as the same appears of record in the Plat on file in the Office of the Recorder of Putnam County, Indiana, at Plat Book 4, page 100.) is hereby vacated as a public right -of -way of the City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. This Ordinance shall have the full force and effect of law immediately upon its passage by the Common Council. of the City of Greencastle, Indiana.
