AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE FY 1997 LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has approved the Borough of
Carteret's application for funding under the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant
(LLEBG) Program in the amount of $19,479.00; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the LLEBG Program is to reduce crime and improve
public safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the Borough of
Carteret is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents relating to the FY
1997 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Agreement.
IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk be and she is hereby
authorized to execute any and all documents relating to the FY 1997 Local Law
Enforcement Block Grant Agreement.
Adopted this 18th day of November, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the original
on November 19, 1997.
