ORDINANCE NO. ';/. '8
AN ORDINANCE INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE THE
NFPA 70 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1990
EDITION, AND THE UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
PROVISIONS FOR THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE,
1990 EDITION, AS AMENDED BY SEDGWICK COUNTY
RESOLUTION NUMBER 253-1992 AND REPEALING
ORDINANCES NUMBER 13 AND 165.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1.
Incorporating National Electrical Code
There is hereby incorporated by reference that certain code
known as the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code, 1990 Edition,
prepared and published in book form by the National Fire Protection
Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, Massachusetts, and the
Uniform Administrative Code provisions for the National Electrical
Code, 1990 Edition, prepared and published in book form by the
International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 South Workman
Mill Road, Whittier, California, as amended by Sections 1 through
9 of Resolution Number 253-1992 of the Board of County
Commissioners of Sedgwick County, Kansas. No fewer than three (3)
copies of said NFPA 70 National Electrical Code, 1990 Edition, the
Uniform Administrative Code provisions for the National Electrical
Code, 1990 Edition, and Sedgwick County Resolution Number 253-1992
shall be marked "Official Copy as adopted by Ordinance No.
,t ;('i! ," to which shall be attached a copy of this Ordinance, and
filed with the City Clerk to be open to inspection and available to
the public at all reasonable hours.
Section 2.
Repeal
Ordinances Number 13 and 165 are hereby repealed. All other
ordinances or parts of other ordinances in conflict herewith are
repealed. However, any section of an existing ordinance not in
conflict herewith is not repealed and remains in full force and
effect.
Section 3.
Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication in the official city newspaper.
