Stream stage (water surface) and rainfall amounts will be collected with stream discharges (flow rates) determined for each gauging station. Stream stage will be measured and recorded at 5-minute intervals and transmitted via satellite to the USGS and automatically downloaded into a database. Stage and discharge values will be displayed in a real-time fashion on the USGS public web page. In addition, data reports or evaluations are provided by the USGS as an extension of staff, as requested for use by the District.
