• AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
GREENCASTLE, PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA PURSUANT TO
VOLUNTARY PETITION OF PEDCOR INVESTMENTS
AND PEDCOR INVESTMENTS- 1989 -VII, L.P.
SECTION 1 . That the territory described below is
contiguous to the city boundaries of the City of Greencastle,
Putnam County, Indiana, and pursuant to a Voluntary Petition
for Annexation, the same is hereby annexed to and declared to
be a part of the City of Greencastle, Indiana:
Parcel I
A part of the East I a I of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 15, Township 1.4 North, Range
4 West of the Second Principal Meridian, Putnam
County, Indiana, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said
Southeast Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 02'
00" West (assumed bearing) along the East 1. i.ne
of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of 735.00
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein
described real estate; thence South 90 degrees
00' 00" West, a distance of 321.07 feet; thence
South 87 degrees 14' 00" West, a distance of
269.31 feet; thence South 90 degrees 00' 00"
West, a distance of 300.50 feet; thence North
00 degrees 09' 00" East, a distance of 427.79
feet; thence North 89 degrees 18' 46" East,
parallel with the South line of said Southeast
• Quarter, a distance of 889.27 feet to the East
line of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 00
degrees 02' 00" Fast along said East .Line, a
distance of 425.45 feet to the point of
beginning. Containing 379,505 square feet
(8.712 acres), more or less.
Except therefrom any territory previously
annexed by Ordinance No. 1989 -14.
Parcel II
A part of the Fast half of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range
4 west of the Second Principal Meridian, Putnam
County, Indiana, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said
Southeast Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 02'
00" West (assumed bearing) along the East line
of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of 345.00
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein
described real estate; thence South 84 degrees
59' 00" West, a distance of 233.44 feet; thence
South 00 degrees 02' 00" East, parallel with
the East line of said Southeast Quarter, a
distance of 2.00 feet; thence South 88 degrees
34' 59" West a distance of 91.45 feet; thence
South 89 degrees 1.7' 46" West, a distance of
567.95 feet; thence North 00 degrees 09' 00"
• East, a distance of 408.65 feet; thence North
90 degrees 00' 00" East, a distance of 300.50
feet; thence North 87 degrees 14' 00" Fast, a
distance of 269.31 feet; thence North 90
degrees 00' 00" Fast a distance of 321.07 feet
to the East line of said Southeast Quarter;
thence South 00 degrees 02' 00" East along said
East line, a distance of 390.00 feet to the
• point of beginning. Containing 362,413 square
feet (8.320 acres), more or less.
Except therefrom any territory previously
annexed by Ordinance No. 1989 -14.
SECTION 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
its publication, as provided by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Common Council . of: the City of
Greencastle, Indiana this 30th clay of May, 1990.
