•Launched May 29, 2015, $10.5 Million available for loans
•Processed 8 loans for an aggregate of over $2.6 Million
•20 applications currently in pipeline for over $4 Million in 2016
•New advertising/marketing campaign targeting M/WBE’s

•Held 2 Diversity Opportunity Fairs for Tunneling Projects

•OJT Tunneling Training Program Opportunity
–Unique opportunity to train diverse workers to do tunneling work and increase
availability of experienced tunneling workers for additional tunneling projects over
the next 3-5 years
–Staff is committed to coming before the Board with a detailed plan seeking contract
amendments for additional supplemental appropriation to fund the program
