REZONING That the City of Greencastle Zoning Map, Chapter 806 -5 (b) of the City of Greencastle Code, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification for the following described real estate from I 2-- General Industrial and R A Residential - Agricultural to I -2 -- General Industrial Districts: • 1. ORDINANCE NO. 1990 -12 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GREENCASTLE PLANNING AND ZONING • ORDINANCE BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP (10TH STREET) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Greencastle, has initiated and prepared this ordinance to amend the Greencastle Planning and Zoning Ordinance by amending the zoning map; WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that it held a public hearing concerning this ordinance on March 26, 1990, after timel.y notice of the hearing was given by publ.i.cat: ion in the Banner - Graphic, Greencastle, Indiana on March 1.7, 1990; WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that it paid reasonable regard to the factors enumerated in TC 36 -7 -4- 603 in consideration of the ordinance and determination of a recommendation to made to the Common Council; WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission fins certified this ordinance to the Common Council with a recommendation by a majority vote in favor of adoption; • WHEREAS, the Common Council has considered the recommendation of the Greencastle Plan Commission and has paid reasonable regard to the factors enumerated in 1C 36 -7 -4 -603 before acting on this ordinance; WHEREAS, the Common Council has determined that this ordinance should be adopted without amendment as certified by the Greencastle Plan Commission. Therefore, HE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNC.TL OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, IND.rANA: SECTION 1. REZONING That the City of Greencastle Zoning Map, Chapter 806 -5 (b) of the City of Greencastle Code, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification for the following described real estate from I 2-- General Industrial and R A Residential - Agricultural to I -2 -- General Industrial Districts: • 1. Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam ® and being a part of the West half of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 West of the Second Principal Meridian, more particularly described to -wit: Commencing at the Southwest corner of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 West; thence North 00 degrees 27 minutes East 1729.52 feet with the West line of said Section 23 and to the true point of beginning of the real. estate herein described; thence North 00 degrees 27 minutes East 2132.92 feet with the {Jest line of said Section 23; thence South 89 degrees 33 minutes East 20.00 feet to the East right -of -way of 10th Street; thence with the right -of -way of the proposed Southern Highway, North 08 degrees 59 minutes least 10J..1.2 feet; thence North 00 degrees 27 minutes Fast 24.97 feet; thence leaving the right -of -way of said Southern Highway, South 89 degrees 25 minutes East 259.84 feet; thence North 05 degrees 34 minutes West 265.95 feet to the South right -of -way of the aforesaid Southern Highway; thence with said Southern right -of. -way, North 63 degrees 1.8 minutes East 148.02 feet; thence North 64 degrees 16 minutes Fast 300.04 feet; thence North 59 degrees 30 minutes East 300.67 feet; thence North 63 degrees 18 minutes East 300.00 feet; thence North 69 degrees 01 minute East 100.50 feet; thence North 57 degrees 49 minutes East 104.48 feet; thence North 63 degrees 18 minutes East 581.33 feet; thence leaving the Southern right -of -way of said Southern Highway, thence South 00 degrees 53 O minutes West 3378.02 feet; thence North 89 degrees 21 minutes West 1866.13 feet to the point of beginning, containing 122.77 acres, more or less. This ordinance takes effect upon passage. The Clerk- Treasurer of the City of Greencastle is ordered to have this ordinance published by inserting a copy of the ordinance in each of the two (2) sets of the City of Greencastle Code maintained on file for public inspection in the office of the Clerk- Treasurer.
