A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF
$33,257.00 FROM COUNTY AID -TO- CITIES FUNDS FOR
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS ON SELECT SYSTEM
STREETS WHICH INCLUDE PATCHING, RESURFACING,
SEALING, SWEEPING, SIGNING, STRIPING, MARKING;
AND TIME MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS INCLUD-
ING THOSE SHARED WITH THE STATE DIVISION OF
HIGHWAYS, AND REQUESTING THE TRANSMITTAL OF
FUNDS
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles' has appropriated certain monies to
the City of Temple City from the County Aid -to- Cities Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City now desires to budget the expenditure
of certain of these monies, and
WHEREAS, proposed improvements are of general County interest and select'
system city streets are involved which tie into the County Master Plan of Highways,
and
WHEREAS, there now exists a Street Maintenance Agreement between the
City of Temple City and the County of Los Angeles.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to
allocate the sum of $33,257.00 from County Aid -to- Cities funds to the City of
Temple City for the purpose of maintaining select system city streets as shown on
the attached list; which work includes patching, resurfacing, sealing, sweeping,
signing, striping, marking, and the maintenance of traffic signals, including
those shared with the State Division of Highways.
SECTION 2. That the City Council requests that all funds hereby
allocated, when approved by the County, be transmitted to the City for disburse-
ment to the persons or agencies entitled thereto.
