RESOLUTION NO. 86-93 ADOPTED May 28, 1986
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A PAINTING CONTRACT WITH SOUTHERN CORROSION, INC.,
FOR RECOATING THE CARR ELEVATED STEEL TANK EXTERIOR.
WHEREAS, the above described project was an approved and appropriated
capital outlay item in the FY 86 budget; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids for this work were solicited in accordance with
Leesburg's Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, of the seven bids received, Southern Corrosion, Inc. was the
lowest responsive and responsible bidder:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Southern Corrosion, Inc. for the recoating of the Carr Elevated Steel Tank
exterior in the amount of $27,600.00.
