AUTHORIZING A PERMIT FOR DOWNTOWN LEESBURG SIDEWALK SALE DAY
WHEREAS, a request has been submitted by the Downtown Business Association
for a sidewalk sale on June 29:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The manager is authorized to issue a permit under §10-13 of the
Town Code to the Downtown Business Association for a sidewalk sale on King Street
to be conducted on Sunday, June 29 from noon until no later than 6:00 P.M. and
is further authorized to close King Street between Loudoun and Market during those
hours.
SECTION II. The permit may contain reasonable and appropriate conditions
as determined necessary by the manager and shall require the town to be named
as additional insured under a $500,000 public liability insurance policy secured
by the Downtown Business Association.
