12:30 P.M. SPECIAL PUBLIC BOARD MEETING
The Trustees of the District met in Room 109 at 2350 Market on the above date.
Present at the meeting were:

Trustee Mandel asked for roll call of all Trustees and called the meeting to order at 12:30pm.
Roll Call Vote was made by Secretary-Treasurer, Tim Snoke. Trustee Singer, Mandel, Yates and Faul were present.
Trustee Mandel asked for questions from the public; Hearing none, Trustee Mandel moved on to New Business.
Secretary-Treasurer, Tim Snoke, proceeded with the introduction and adoption of Tax Ordinance 14523.

ORDINANCES INTRODUCTION AND ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 14802 – REVISED –
Adjusted 2017 Tax Levy for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and its various Subdistricts AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 14684, adopted June 8, 2017, and enacting a new
Ordinance in lieu thereof, adjusting the previously fixed taxes by determining the amount of
taxes which shall be levied, assessed, and collected in the year 2017 on all taxable tangible
property in the District within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, respectively, and in Subdistricts within the corporate limits of St. Louis County as follows:
Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict, Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict, Maline Creek Trunk
Subdistrict, Watkins Creek Trunk Subdistrict, Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek), Subdistrict
No. 89 (Loretta-Joplin), Subdistrict No. 342 (Clayton-Central), Subdistrict No. 366 (University
City Branch of River des Peres Stormwater Subdistrict), Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek Stormwater Subdistrict), Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek), Subdistrict No. 448 (Missouri
River - Bonfils), Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - M.S.D. Southwest), Subdistrict
No. 453 (Shrewsbury Branch of River des Peres), Subdistrict No. 454 (Seminary Branch of
River des Peres), Subdistrict No. 455 (Black Creek), Subdistrict No. 1 of the River des Peres
Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area), Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des Peres Watershed (North Affton Area) and Subdistrict No. 7 of the River des Peres Watershed
(Wellston Area); and the Board of Trustees, in accordance with Charter Section 7.310
authorizes the Director of Finance to certify as to the amount of taxes which shall be levied,
assessed and collected within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County
and for the aforementioned Subdistricts with an emergency clause. Motion was made by Trustee Yates, seconded by Trustee Singer,
that the ordinance no. 14802 be Introduced.
Motion passed - 4 ayes – 0 nays Poll taken: J. Singer – aye; A. Mandel – aye; M. Yates – aye; J. Faul – aye;
The Secretary Treasurer asked if there was an objection to the suspension of the rule.
Hearing None Motion was made by Trustee Mandel, seconded by Trustee Yates, that The ordinance nos. 14802 be Adopted
Motion passed - 4 ayes – 0 nays Poll taken: J. Singer – aye; A. Mandel – aye; M. Yates – aye; J. Faul – aye;
Trustee Mandel asked for a Motion for adjournment.
Motion was made by Trustee Yates and seconded by Trustee Singer. The meeting adjourned at
12:43 p.m.
