AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING A
GENERAL FUND SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $25,000.00 WITHIN THE
FY2015-2016 BUDGET FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson was a recipient of Neighborhood Stabilization
Program (NSP) federal funds in 2009 to acquire and rehabilitate
foreclosed homes within targeted areas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson acquired 304 Marshall St in 2009 to rehabilitate and
sell to area median income household; and
WHEREAS, the balance within the NSP program is $101,428.08, with the most recent
bids for mitigation and rehabilitation at $123,080.00; and
WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation is needed to complete the project and
provide contingency of approximately 2.72%.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Funds shall be supplementally appropriated to the FY2015-2016
Neighborhood Stabilization Program budget for this project.
Section 2. Any proceeds of sale due City shall be returned proportionally to
General Fund (revenue).
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval. 7
