AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT AMONG THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, LOUDOUN
COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND XEROX REALTY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, a dispute arose between the Town of Leesburg and County of
Loudoun concerning the November 15, 1982, Annexation Agreement with respect
to the Xerox Realty Corporation rezoning approved by the county December
16, 1985, the Leesburg Area Management Plan amendments approved September
16, 1985, and the timing and source of utility services to the planned Potomac
Park development; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Town Council by Resolution No. 86-101 dated May
28, 1986, and the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors by approved motion
on May 22, 1986, agreed to a settlement of the litigation arising out of
the dispute hereinabove described, subject to the preparation of a formal
written agreement:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement among
Leesburg, Loudoun County and Xerox Realty Corporation attached hereto, subject
to revisions approved by the town's special counsel.
