-- AUTHORIZING ECONOMIC DIRECTOR TO PROCURE
HOLIDAY LIGHTING
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") wishes to decorate the
community in celebration of the holiday season; and
WHEREAS, the Borough is desirous of obtaining lighting to be used on street poles
in order to so decorate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Economic
Development is directed to procure decorative street lighting as outlined in the
attached memo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount to be expended shall not exceed
the bid threshold.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any agreement to obtain said decorative
lighting shall first be approved by the Mayor and Borough Council.
Adopted this 4th day of December, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the original
on December 5, 1997.
