A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY INDICATING
NO CITY TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1966 -1967
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Section 51511 of the Government Code of the
State of California specifies that annually before September 1 ,
the City Legislative Body shall fix the rate of taxes by designat-
ing the number of cents upon each one hundred dollars of assessed
valuation, and
WHEREAS, the City Legislative Body is further required '
to transmit to the Auditor of the County of Los Angeles a state-
ment of the rates so fixed, and
WHEREAS, the revenues are sufficient from other sources
for the City to continue to provide a high level of municipal
services without the necessity of leveling a city tax rate,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Temple
City does hereby determine that there will be a zero (0) tax rate
for the City of Temple City (no levy) for the fiscal year 1966-
1967. /
