A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017-18 BUDGET IN THE
GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2017-18 (FY17-18) budget on June 20,
2017 for the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds of the City via Resolution No. 17-068; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has authorized the City of Carson to receive a grant of
$50,000 to develop a local plan to combat homelessness; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it necessary to amend the FYI 7-18 General Fund
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendment(s) will be made to the City's FY 17-18 budget.
Increase
01-70-790-003-4522 Revenue From Other Agencies $50,000
01-70-790-003-6005 Housing Development/Operations/Contract Services $50,000
Net General Fund Impact
$0
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the FYI 7-18 budget on file, and effective as of February 20, 2018, the same
shall be in force and effect.
