A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE
FISCAL YEAR 2017-18 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2017-18 (FY17-18) budget on June 20, 2017
for the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds of the City via Resolution No. 17-068; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends a reclassification of an Part -Time Office Clerk to a Full -Time
Senior Clerk;
WHEREAS, the City Council has, by Resolution No. 18-023, directed the City Manager to
conduct a recruitment for an additional Full -Time Senior Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it necessary to amend the FY17-18 General Fund
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendment(s) will be made to the City's FY17-18 budget.
Increase/(Decrease)
01-30-000-003-5SUM Employee Compensation (Reclassification — Senior Clerk) $17,177.50
01-30-000-003-5SUM Employee Compensation (Additional Position - Senior Clerk) $13,982.00
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy
of this resolution attached to the FY17-18 budget on file, and effective as of March 6, 2018, the same
shall be in force and effect.
