AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH CAMPBELL, MCQUEEN AND PARIS, ENGINEERS
FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH
RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY EXTENSION AND APRON EXPANSION PROJECT AT
LEESBURG MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, a proposal has been received from Campbell, McQueen and Paris,
Engineers for design and construction engineering services for the south runway
and taxiway extension and parking apron expansion project in response to the
town's request for proposal issued October 14, 1986; and
WHEREAS, a review committee has recommended that Council authorize a
contract with Campbell, McQueen and Paris, Engineers for this project:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The manager shall execute a cost plus fixed fee contract in an
amount not to exceed $163,000 with Campbell, McQueen and Paris, Engineers for
design and construction engineering services for the south runway and taxiway
extension and parking apron expansion project in accordance with the request for
proposal issued October 14, 1986, and their proposal as received on November 11,
1986.
SECTION II. A notice to proceed from the Town of Leesburg to Campbell,
McQueen and Paris, Engineers will be forthcoming upon notification from the
Federal Aviation Administration that a tentative allocation for funding has been
issuedand contingent upon Federal Aviation Administration approval of the
selection of Campbell, McQueen and Paris, Engineers.
