A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY PERTAINING
TO THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
SEPTEMBER 13, 1966, RE ANNEXATION
OF "ANNEXATION NO. 11" TO THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 66 -635, the City Council of the
City of Temple City called a special election to be held on the 13:y
day of September, 1966, in the territory described in attached schedul
"A" and proposed to be annexed to the City of Temple City, for the pur
pose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said terri-
tory the question whether or not such territory shall be annexed to,
incorporated in, and made a part of said City of Temple City.
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. a. For the purpose of said election there here-
by is established in the territory described in attached schedule "A ",
three (3) voting precincts, which shall include all of said territory.
The following are the polling places of said election precincts and
the following named persons hereby are named officers of election and
shall constitute the boards of election for such election precincts.
Voting precinct #1, comprising regular election precincts
Rio Hondo No. 17 and No, 113, and those portions of Rio Hondo pre-
cincts No. 100 and No. 99 lying within the boundaries of proposed
Annexation #11:
Polling Place: 8804 Callita St., San Gabriel, (Faye Gardner)
Inspector: Faye Gardner, 8804 Callita St., San Gabriel
Judge: Carol L, Kennedy, 0834 Callita St., San Gabriel
Judge: Emmy A. Roth, 6339 Muscatel Ave., San Gabriel
Voting Precinct #2, comprising regular election precinct
Rio Hondo No. 11, and that .portion of Rio Hondo precinct No. 72 lying
within the boundaries of proposed Annexation #11:
Polling Place :6825 Lotus Ave,San Gabriel (Dorothy Beauchamp)
Inspector: Dorothy Beauchamp, 6825 Lotus Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Carol Finley, 8926 Youngdale St., San Gabriel
Judge: Eleanor Swift, 8908 Youngdale St., San Gabriel
Voting Precinct #3, comprising regular election precinct
Rio Hondo No. 65, and those portions of Rio Hondo precincts No. 109
and No. 49 and No. 91 lying within the boundaries of proposed Annexa-
tion No. 11:
Polling Place: 8861 Callita St., San Gabriel, (Irma Cornell)
Inspector: Irma Cornell, 8861 Callita St., San Gabriel
Judge: Flora Kahn, 8810 Camino Real Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Mary B. Shaw, 8845 Callita St„ San Gabriel
b. For their services in connection with said election said
Inspectors shall receive $18.00 and said Judges $15.00 each; and the
persons in possession of the polling places named herein shall receive
for the use of such premises in connection with said election the sum
of $15.00.
The City Clerk shall publish a notice of said special elec-
tion as required by the Annexation Act of 1913, at least once a week
for the four (4) weeks prior to the date of the election on September
13, 1966, in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published outside of the City of Temple City
but in the County of Los Angeles, California.
This Resolution shall take effect upon its publication.

The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of th$s Reso-
lution and cause the same to be published once in the Temple City
Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1966.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting held on the 16th day of August, 1966, by the following vote
of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Clemson, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell

ABSENT: Councilmen- Beckley
