HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2010-60 (3)CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA RESOLUTION: 2010-60 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MOVING OF TWO STOP SIGNS FROM E SECOND STREET AND MOVING THE TWO STOP SIGNS TO BROWN STREET AT THIS INTERSECTION OF E SECOND AND BROWN STREET. WHEREAS: a request has been made to eliminate the two stops signs on E Second Street and reposition the two stop signs on Brown Street at the intersection of E Second and Brown St. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: THE City Council approves the request to move the stop signs and directs Public Works to install warning flags on the stop signs to alert the public of this change in signage. On this 8t" day of December 2010, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Council person Travis Weipert introduced 2010-60 and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Council person Chris Ball. AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert NAYS: None ABSENT: Mike Gericke WHEREUPON, four votes approved, Mayor Phillips declared that Resolution 2010-60 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MOVING OF TWO STOP SIGNS FROM E SECOND STREET AND MOVING THE TWO STOP SIGNS TO BROWN STREET AT THIS INTERSECTION OF E SECOND AND BROWN STREET. be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
