FOLLOWS:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -645
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY PERTAINING
TO THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
SEPTEMBER 13, 1966, RE ANNEXATION
OF "ANNEXATION NO. 12" TO THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 66 -636, the City Council of the
City of Temple City called a special election to be held on the 13th
day of September, 1966, in the territory described in attached schedule
"A" and proposed to be annexed to the City of Temple City, for the pur-
pose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said terri-
tory the question whether or not such territory shall be annexed to,
incorporated in, and made a part of said City of Temple City.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. a. For the purpose of said election there here-
by is established in the territory described in attached schedule "A"
three (3) voting precincts, which shall include all of said territory.
The following are the polling places of said election precincts and
the following named persons hereby are named officers of election and
shall constitute the boards of election for such election precincts.
Voting precinct #4, comprised of all of Rio Hondo precinct
No. 111 and all of Rio Hondo precinct No. 112, both of which lie
within the boundaries of proposed Annexation No. 12:
Polling Place: 9154 Fairview Ave. San Gabriel (Esther Burke)
Inspector: Esther Burke, 9154 Fairview Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Virginia Bateman, 9119 Fairview Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Shirley Woods, 9155 Southview Rd., San Gabriel
Voting precinct #5, comprised of that part of precincts
Rio Hondo No. 49, Rio Hondo No. 109, Rio Hondo No. 32, Rio Hondo No.
108, and Rio Hondo No. 110 lying within the boundaries of proposed
Annexation No. 12:
Polling Place: 9116 Le Roy St.(Garage) Barbara Richardson
Inspector: Helen Bady, 9129 Youngdale St., San Gabriel
Judge: Barbara Richardson, 9116 Le Roy St., San Gabriel
Judge: Eleanor Williams, 9103 Youngdale St., San Gabriel
Voting precinct #6, comprised of that part of precincts
Rio Hondo No. 37 and Rio Hondo No. 91 lying within the boundaries of
proposed Annexation No. 12:
Polling Place: 9122 Ardendale St. San Gabriel (Mary Mallory)
Inspector: Janice Pitzer, 9040 Ardendale Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Wanda Drown, 9128 Ardendale Ave., San Gabriel
Judge: Claire Marquardt, 9422 Naomi Ave., Arcadia
b. For their services in connection with said election said
Inspectors shall receive $18.00 and said Judges $15,00 each; and the
persons in possession of the polling places named herein shall receive
for the use of such prem.(teig in connection with said election the sum
of $15.00.
The City Clerk shall publish a notice of said special elec-
tion as required by the Annexation Act of 1913, at least once a week
for the four (4) weeks prior to the date of the election on September
13, 1966, in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published outside of the City of Temple City
but in the County of Los Angeles, California.
This Resolution shall take effect upon its publication.

The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Reso-
lution and cause the same to be published once in the Temple City
Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1966,

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting held on the 16th day of August, 1966, by the following vote
of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Clemson, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Beckley
