A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE SPECIAL
ELECTIONS TO BE HELD ON THE 13th DAY
OF SEPTEMBER, 1966, TO BE MADE BY THE
CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, regular special elections will be held and conduct-
ed in the territories designated as Annexation #11 and Annexation
#12, both in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, on
Tuesday, the 13th day of September, 1966, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the canvass
of said election to be made by the City Clerk of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elec-
tions Code of the State of California, the canvass of the regular
special elections to be held in the territories designated as Annexa-
tion No. 11 and Annexation No. 12, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, on Tuesday, the 13th day of September, 1966, are hereby
ordered to be made by the City Clerk of the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City shall, prior tr:
the 20th day of September, 1966, complete the canvass of the special
elections to be held on the 13th day of September, 1966, and shall
certify the results to this said City Council on the 20th day of
September, 1966.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passag'
and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of
original Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the
City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the
same is passed anal adopted.
