A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO NED AND ANN ALLEN FOR
PROPERTY REMEDIATION IN CONNECTION OF 20o9 HWY 6 WIDENING
PROJECT
WHEREAS Ned and Ann Allen undertook work on their driveway with connection
with a Hwy 6 Widening Project conducted by the City of Tiffin in 2009; and
WHEREAS at the Special Meeting on November 22, 2010 the City Council
approved a payment of $8,000 to Allens as reimbursement for the work paid by
them to make changes in their driveway associated with the Project contingent
upon the Allens signing a waiver of any future responsibility by the City or the City
Engineer arising from the Project.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tiffin that it hereby
approves payment to Ned and Ann Allen of $8,000 from the City as a part of the 2009
Highway 6 widening project. The City Council hereby directs the Mayor, City
Attorney, and City Clerk to prepare and execute the appropriate releases and other
documents to make the payment.
Motion made by Council person Chris Ball introduced Resolution 2010-59
for approval and motion seconded by Council person Travis Weipert.
Aye: Chris Ball, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert. Abstain: Jim Bartels

Absent:Mike Gericke
Whereupon four votes having voted Aye, Mayor Phillips declared the Resolution 2010-59 A
RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO NED AND ANN ALLEN FOR PROPERTY
REMEDIATION IN CONNECTION OF 2009 HWY 6 WIDENING PROJECT be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
