Leesburg Economic Development Department Issues RFQ
for Business Development Videos
Leesburg, VA (April 15, 2011) – The Leesburg Economic Development Department has issued a
Request for Quote (RFQ) for production of a suite of videos intended to showcase the Town’s
unique assets and attractiveness as a business location.
“The proposed videos are part of our continuing efforts to tell the Leesburg story,” explained
Marantha Edwards, the Town’s Economic Development Manager. “Our vision is that the videos
will feature Leesburg business leaders and community stakeholders giving their personal
testimonials as to why Leesburg is a great place to grow a business.”
“In addition to highlighting some of Leesburg’s extraordinary existing businesses, the videos will
emphasize those things that make Leesburg a very distinguishable, special place. We want
these videos to be vibrant and high-energy with the aim of attracting ‘like’ businesses,” she
added.
The new videos will be integrated into the Town’s website and featured on the Town’s new
YouTube account as well as delivered directly to prospective businesses and site selection
consultants. On the website, the videos will complement the recently-added digital version of
the Town’s award winning business-to-business brochure.
Video production companies interested in submitting quotes should visit the Town’s online bid
board at www.leesburgva.gov/index.aspx?page=266 to register and download the full RFQ.
The deadline for submission of quotes is April 27, 2011.
