A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR
2017-18 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City's Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18 budget on June 20,
2017; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested to increase the promotion and publicity of the charter
process to the community by either a hand -delivered community outreach flyer or Special Edition of
the Carson Report for the proposed city charter process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend FY 2017-18 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendments will be made to the City's budget:

01-50-010-001-6004 Operations/ Professional Services $5,000.
01-50-540-003-6008 Operations / Promotion and Publicity $3,000.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of this
resolution attached to the FY 2017-18 budget on file, and effective as of May 29, 2018, the same shall be in
force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 291h day of May, 2018.
