A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR REGULAR
MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the Carson Reclamation Authority is a duly organized joint powers authority
pursuant to the Joint Exercise of Powers Act, commencing with section 6500 et seq. of the Government
Code (the "Authority"); and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Authority permit the Board of the Authority (the "Board") to set
the time and place for regular meetings by resolution of the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Authority desires to set a regular meeting on December 19, 2017 AND ON
January 9, 2018, and to confirm its subsequent regular meetings to be on the first Tuesday of each
month thereafter; and
WHEREAS, the Authority now desires to reset the time of future regular Authority meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Carson Reclamation Authority as follows:
Section 1. Regular Meetings. The regular meetings of the Board shall hereafter be
held on December 19, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., January 9, 2018 at 4:30 p.m., and thereafter on the first
Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. The place of such meetings is set by the JPA Agreement to
be City Council Chambers at Carson City Hall, 701 East Carson Street, Carson, California 90745.
Section 2. First Meeting. The next regular meeting shall be held on the date of
December 19, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
Section 3. Repeal. This Resolution repeals all prior resolutions setting regular
meetings.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and adoption.
