A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018/19
ADOPTED BUDGET TO ALLOCATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,500.00 FOR THE
CITY'S MATCH FOR THE KABOOM GRANT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City's Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 budget on June 19,
2018; and
WHEREAS, KaBoom is a national non-profit organization that develops, manages and
coordinates community -build playground construction projects; and
WHEREAS, the City has successfully partnered with KaBoom to purchase and install
playground equipment at Friendship Mini Park, Walnut Mini Park and Scott Park; and
WHEREAS, the City was informed of new opportunity for a similar project at Stevenson Park;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2018-19 budget to allocate funds for the
required City match.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendments will be made to the City's budget:

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of this
resolution attached to the FY 2019-007 budget on file, and effective as of January 8, 2019, the same shall be
in force and effect.
