A RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY THE 2010 TIFFIN, IOWA TIF DEBT TO THE
JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA AUDITOR
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa is required to certify the TIF Debt to the Johnson County,
Iowa Auditor. per Iowa Code Section 403.19 Tax Increment Financing Indebtness.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Iowa needs to prepare and certify with the Johnson County,
Iowa Auditor's Office by December 1, 2010 the estimated amounts needed to complete projects
identified and approved by the City Council of Tiffin with the named Urban Renewal Area, Iowa
to expend appropriated TIF Funds as the City Council deems necessary for the continuation of
growth and betterment of the community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O F THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA to authorize Mayor and City Clerk to prepare and submit to the Auditor of
Johnson County, Iowa an updated 2010 TIF Certification.
Motion made by Councilperson::Mark Petersen. Seconded by Councilperson Mike Gericke. to
approve Resolution 2010-58 to authorize. the Mayor and City Clerk to certify as required
the 2010 TIF Debt to the Johnson County, Iowa Auditor.

Absent: None
Five votes by City Council members, Mayor Royce Phillips declared Resolution 2010-58 A
RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY THE 2010 TIFFIN, IOWA TIF DEBT TO THE JOHNSON
COUNTY, IOWA AUDITOR approved and therefore affixes his signature.
PASSED AND APPROVED THE 22nd day of November 2010.
