AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT TO AIRPORT AID AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AND THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (MODOT) TO CONSTRUCT RUNWAY 12/30
REHABILITATION, EDGE LIGHTING FOR RUNWAYS 12/30 AND 9/27, AND
TAXIWAY B PROJECT AT THE JEFFERSON CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the First
Supplemental Agreement to Airport Aid Agreement with the Missouri Highways and
Transportation Commission (MoDOT) for construction and construction services related
to the runway 12/30 rehabilitation, edge lighting for runways 12/30 and 9/27, and
taxiway B project at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport.
Section 2. This agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content
as Exhibit A attached hereto.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT TO AIRPORT AID AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT AMENDMENT is entered into by the Missouri Highways and
Transportation Commission (hereinafter, "Commission") and the City of Jefferson
(hereinafter, "Sponsor").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Airport Aid Agreement executed by
Sponsor on October 6, 2014, and executed by the Commission on October 16, 2014
(hereinafter, "Original Agreement") under which the Commission granted the sum of
Two Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Seven dollars ($294,767) to
the Sponsor to assist in Construct Runway 12130 Rehabilitation, Edge Lighting for
Runways 12130 and 9127, and Taxiway B; and
WHEREAS, the Commission and the Sponsor desire to formally amend the
Original Agreement to extend the Project Time Period as contained in this First
Supplemental Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and
representations in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
(1) PROJECT TIME PERIOD: Based upon the revised project schedule, the
project time period of December 31, 2015, will be extended to August 31, 2016, to allow
for completion of the work. Paragraph (3) of the Original Agreement is hereby amended
accordingly.
(2) ORIGINAL AGREEMENT: Except as otherwise modified, amended, or
supplemented by this Supplemental Agreement, the Original Agreement between the
parties shall remain in full force and effect and the unaltered terms of the Original
Agreement shall extend and apply to this Supplemental Agreement.
