King Pinz Plans Expansion to Include Six Additional Bowling
Lanes and Expanded VIP Area
Leesburg, VA (April 21, 2011) – King Pinz,
located at 1602 Village Market Boulevard,
Suite 100, has announced plans to expand
their existing 15,312 square foot space to
21,564 square feet. Plans for the
expanded space include six additional
bowling lanes, for a total of 18 lanes, as
well as a cigar bar and cocktail lounge
with a separate entrance.
King Pinz, located in the Village at
Leesburg, currently features 12 bowling
lanes as well as the Sports Grill & Lounge
dining area, a Game Zone arcade area, and a VIP suite for private parties.
“In response to the overwhelmingly positive response by the local community, we are pleased
to announce that we have completed negotiations with Cypress Equities to expand into the
adjacent space at Village at Leesburg,” said co-owner Diane Reedy. “The expansion will include
six new bowling lanes and the “High Rollers Lounge”, a cigar bar and cocktail lounge with a
separate entrance and isolated ventilation and air filtration systems. The new lanes will reduce
wait times for bowling during peak periods and allow us to offer corporate clients a larger
private bowling suite with room for 60 guests. Construction in the new space will have minimal
impact on current operations and is expected to be completed by mid-summer.”
“King Pinz’ expansion is a very positive indication that there is a need for more evening
entertainment options,” commented Marantha Edwards, the Town’s Economic Development
Manager. “Clearly, King Pinz hits the mark in Leesburg.”
