ITEM #1: Check on documents & ordinance updates.
I will be providing the most recent ordinance updates & checking that everyone
has the necessary documents.
Please bring your copy of the Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Regulations, Vision
2010, and Rules of Procedure.
ITEM #2: Introduction to Planning & Zoning in general, Hillsborough specifically
Attached are some references from the Institute of Government at UNC. Please
look through them as time permits.
ITEM #3: The Planning Board
Duties & responsibilities
Relationship to other volunteer and elected boards
ITEM #4: The Comprehensive Plan
