States, Mr. Cizmic’s artwork was included in numerous exhibits throughout the former Yugoslavia.
Mr. Cizmic moved to Leesburg in 1997. His work has been on display at the embassy of Bosnia and
Herzegovina in Washington D.C. and at the Waterford Foundation’s art show during the annual
Home Tour & Craft Fair in Waterford, Virginia Fair as well as at other shows in Northern Virginia.
One of his largest paintings is a mural of the New York City skyline, located in the Manhattan
Pizzeria restaurant in the Potomac Station Shopping Center in Leesburg.
Mr. Cizmic works in a variety of media, including oil, watercolor and acrylic. The collection of
paintings that will be on display at the Leesburg Town Exhibit Hall include watercolor landscapes
depicting scenes from both Loudoun County and his native Bosnia as well as a selection of his
portraiture work. The paintings will be on display until July 31, 2011.
