SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED 1989-94 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Section 15.1-464 of the Virginia Code requires a public
hearing before Town Council prior to adoption of the Capital Improvements
Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the proposed 1989-94 Capital Improvements Program is to be
reviewed by the Planning Commission on March 3, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the proposed CIP has been distributed to members of the Town
Council and Planning Commission;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Leesburg Town Council will conduct a public hearing on March 9,
1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers to solicit public comment on
the proposed 1989-94 Capital Improvement Program and the Manager is
directed to prepare and publish the appropriate newspaper advertisement.
