A RESOLUTION:

ADOPTED April 27, 1988
ESTABLISHING AN AD HOC COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER FIRE AND
RESCUE SERVICES FUNDING
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Fire and Rescue Services Planning Committee,
the Town Council and town staff have engaged in several discussions re-
garding the financing of fire and rescue services; and
WHEREAS, further discussions and information is required in order
to formulate effective policy:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
An ad hoc committee is hereby established consisting of Council-
members James Clem and Hunter Leach, Paul York and two representatives
of the fire and rescue services. The purpose of the committee is to
study the financing of fire and rescue services and respond to the
Finance and Administration Committee of the Town Council.
