• Deep River members Rachel Beauregard, Bryan Dawley (a Leesburg native) & Luke

• Matthew McGinn & Julia Sheer are an acoustic duo who singularly have had great
success – both have released critically acclaimed solo albums. Their new partnership
has already garnered a development deal with RCA Records. Acoustic on the Green will
be an early stop on their summer tour.
• Prescott Engle released his solo debut album, “The Pursuit of Meaning,” in 2009. Prior
to going solo, Prescott was a member of the popular local acoustic trio, Light Horse.

Instrumentalist of the Year” by the Washington Area Music Association. Jon will be

in the local area. This year, he will be performing at Acoustic on the Green for the
seventh year in a row.
• Michael Sheppard will be on tour with Milkshake, whose mission is to create great rock
music for kids, again this spring and summer. Milkshake’s album “Great Day,” was
nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009.
• Jennifer Daniels, who will be joined in concert by her husband Jeff Neal, was named FM
Odyssey’s “Artist of the Year.”
Founded in 2004, the Acoustic on the Green summer concert series was named a “Best Bet for
Summer Concerts” in 2009 by Washingtonian Magazine. The concert series is a joint
