AS CAID TO ORD,TR by the mayor
at 8:00 PM with all members present.The Minutes of the
last regular and called meetings were read and approved
by the chair.
Auditor G W Holbrook was heard concerning an audit
of the books.
A letter was read by Hasbrouck from The State
Compensation Insurance fund.
The matter of Bonds nos.5 P- 6 was discussed.
Anderson moved,seconded by Dundas, that Trustee Hasbrouck
be empowered to dispose of the same at the best price ob-
tainable and to advance the intereston same to date if
necessary and that he be reimbursed for the interest on his
return.All vote YEA.
The reports of the Committees were then heard.
/ pplications for the Marshal-ship were then read.
Mayor Smith suggested that the positions of day-marshal
and park employe be made one office.The suggestion was
adopted. allots on day-marshal were then taken with the
result that ,] W Blakesley was elected to serve at the pleasure
of the Board at '85.00 per month.
Ballots were then taken for the position of night
marshal.Harding W E was elected to serve at 85 .00 per mo.
Lt this point the Civic Committee appeared con-
sisting of _drs.A.Anderson,Mrs.M E Smith,and Mrs.A Nichols.
Mrs.A Anderson,as chairman,reonested that the Board urge
the business houses to close , that the cemetery engine be
put in running order,and that the road to the cemetery be
repaired.Liayor Smith assured the Committee that the "Board
would cooperate in all matters as requested.
Ballots were then taken for the position of Town
Treasurer.Arthur Beck was elected.
Ballots were taken for own Aaysicien. or A.And-
erson was elected.
