THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. /~;Z
AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A FEE TO
COMPLY WITH THE STATE WATER PRO-
TECTION ACT ON ALL USERS OF
WATER FROM THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS AND PROVIDING FOR BILLING
NOTATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
SECTION 1. WATER PROTECTION FEE.
Effective the 1st day of July, 1989, there is hereby imposed
on all consumers of water from the City of Bel Aire, Kansas a fee
of three cents ($.03) per 1000 gallons of water used by said
consumers for the purpose of the State of Kansas Water Protection
Act. Said fees collected shall be paid over as provided by
Statute.
SECTION 2.
NOTATION ON BILL
The City of Bel Aire may make a separate notation on each
customers water bill for the purpose of informing the consumer as
to the purpose and amount of said fee.
SECTION 3.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
