AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA, FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County, Indiana, Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation desires to
submit a grant application to obtain funds that will be used for the cost of
the 2009 Summer Concert Series; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is hereby
authorized to submit a grant application to the Wayne County, Indiana,
Foundation.
2. The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is authorized to
accept said grant funding in an amount up to Three Thousand Dollars and
Zero Cents ($3,000.00).
3. Said funds if awarded shall be appropriated to fund the 2009 Summer Concert
Series.
4. No City of Richmond funds shall be required for said grant.
Passed and adopted this _2nd _ day of June 2009, by the Common Council of
the City of Richmond, Indiana.
