A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY
2000 FORD F350 CITY TRUCK ,
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa approved by motion to
sell for highest bid by motion the 2000 Ford F350 truck.
WHEREAS, the sealed bids were accepted until 5:00pm on September 27,
2010 and the bids were opened and reviewed by the City council at Work
Session on September 27, 2010.
WHEREAS, the highest,bidder was Clear Creek Auto for the amount of
$2,680.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa approves
the sale of the 2000 Ford F350 truck to Clear Creek Auto for the amount of $2,680.00
and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to process all legal documents to expedite the
sale of mentioned truck.
ON=this 13th day of October 2010; Council person Travis Wei pert introduced
Resolution 2010-51 and made a motion for approval to authorize the sale of the 2000
Ford F350 truck as directed by Resolution 2010-51. The motion was sbconded by
Council person Jim Bartels.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim. Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: Mike Geticke
Whereupon four votes, Mayor Phillips declared the Resolution 2010-51 A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE 'SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY
2000 FORD F350 CITY TRUCK, be adopted and signified his approval.of the same
by affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 13TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2010
