The minutes of the last meetings were read by the clerk and app- roved by the chair. The communications were read and discussed. All vote YEA. There being no further business to come before the meeting, Gaffer moved, seconded by Andrews to adjourn subject to the call of the mayor. All vote YEt:. /7/7 attest Mayor Town Clerk CALLED MEETING July 7th,1921 THE MEETING l'AS CALLED TO ORDER by the mayor at 8:00 PM with all members present. The mayor announced that the purpose of; the meeting was to take action on proposed Bulletin *27 . The proposed Bulletin was then read,as follows; Bulletin 27 TO ALL CITI`'.DNS AND TAX PAYERS : The Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault wish to make the fol- lowing statements regarding the affairs of the town for the benefit of the citizens and tax-payers. We have a bonded indebtedness of -47,000.O0,a debt of approxim- ately 87 ,700.00 in outstanding warrants,:'3,300.00 in unpaid bills and $1,000.00 in refunded bonds past due' and unpaid,making a total debt of : 59,OOO.00. Several firms to whom the town owes past due accounts for fuel and supplies are very urgently requesting a settlement. The bond firm holding the 1,000.00 in refunding bonds due January lst,1921 are , thru their attorneys, threetening suit which would reflect very ser- iously upon the town and the sale of any future issue of bonds would thereby be on unfavorable terms. All former End present town officials agree on this one point: that we cannot continue to operate a light plant without the revenue from practically all the light and power connections of the town. At present we have about 100 of the 184 users within the incorporated. limits. Estimates from reliable firms state that an expenditure of 15 to 20 thousand dollars Till be necessary in order to take care of
